This is my long term Photo story that I began during my time as a student at International Center of Photography in 2006-2007. This story, about Self-Injury, is an important story that needs to be heard. As a society we are quite aware of the "popular" addictions like alcoholism, drug addiction, eating disorders, but self-injury is one that is rarely discussed about and unfortunantly there are not many outlets out there to help people fight this addiction. I hope to make more people aware of self-injury and also to help break the stereotypes that go along with it.
