I love thrift/second hand stores. I love them even more when you find a gem like I did recently.
A week ago, while browsing through a Housing Works store, I came across Joshua Lutz' "Meadowlands" photography book. I recognized his name as he is a teacher at ICP, but will admit, have never looked at his work before. I picked up the book and fell in love with it instantly and knew I had to buy it (the $5.00 price tag didn't hurt either).
This book is one to add to your photo collection for sure, not only are the images amazing but the print quality of the book itself is almost what astonishes me the most.
Here are a few of my favorite images from the book:

A BANANA A DAY
EVERYDAY I EAT A BANANA. THESE ARE THE PEELS FROM EACH BANANA
PHOTOGRAPHED WITH MY IPHONE 4Gs USING THE HIPSTAMATIC APP. I PHOTOGRAPH
EACH PEEL HOW THEY LAY, DOCUMENTING THE RANDOMNESS OF HOW I
THROW/PLACE/PUT DOWN THE PEEL ONCE I HAVE EATEN THE BANANA. I DO NOT SET
ANYTHING UP, EACH PEEL IS PHOTOGRAPHE ONLY ONCE. NO SECOND CHANGES.
